衣原体 I 

1.它是什么？
衣原体是一种通常侵犯性器官的细菌感染，但是，依据性接触的类型不同，病原体也侵犯口腔、咽喉和/或直肠。通常，感染者无症状，但能够将疾病传染给他人。倘若不经治疗，能够导致严重的健康问题。

2.它由什么所引起？
衣原体由细菌沙眼衣原体（chlamydia trachomatis）所引起。该细菌属于造成一系列其他疾病的菌群，其中某些也通过性接触传播。

3.它如何传播？
衣原体能够在阴道性交、肛交和口交中传播。在分娩时，它也能够通过母婴途径传播。

1. What is it?
Chlamydia is a bacterial infection, usually of the sex organs, but, depending on the type of sexual contact, it can also affect the mouth, the throat and/or the rectum. Very often, the infected person has no symptoms but can transmit the disease to others. If untreated, it can lead to serious health problems.

2. What causes it?
Chlamydia is caused by the bacterium chlamydia trachomatis. It belongs to a group of bacteria responsible for a variety of other diseases. Some of these are also sexually transmissible.

3. How is it transmitted?
Chlamydia can be transmitted during vaginal, anal, or oral intercourse. It can also be passed from an infected mother to her baby during childbirth.
