當陰蒂切除合併小陰唇的部分或全部的切除時，我們就稱之為“陰戶部分切除（excision）[1]”。這種手術類型算得上是部分的陰戶切除（vulvectomy），即陰戶的大部分的切除。在女性性反應中，高度敏感的小陰唇扮演著重要的角色，它們的缺失必然會損害這種生理反應。簡而言之，這種手術甚至是比單獨的陰蒂切除更為嚴重的器官毀損。

When a clitoridectomy is combined with the partial or complete removal of the inner lips (labia minora), one speaks of an “excision”. This type of surgery amounts to a partial vulvectomy, i.e. the removal of large parts of the vulva. The highly sensitive inner lips play an important role in the female sexual response, and their absence cannot but impair this response. In short, this operation is an even more serious mutilation than a clitoridectomy alone.
