陰道環
陰道環是一種直徑約5釐米（2英寸）、環粗0.3釐米(1/8英寸)的柔韌彈性圓環。每月放入陰道3周，爾後按月更換一次。象避孕藥和避孕貼片一樣，陰道環即含有雌激素也含有孕激素。這些激素通過陰道壁吸收。在性交時，通常感覺不到環的存在，因而不會干擾性生活。因為可能存在著副作用，醫囑及其監察是重要的。

Vaginal Ring
The vaginal ring is a flexible plastic ring about 5 cm (2 inches) in diameter and 0,3 cm (1/8 inch) thick. It is inserted into the vagina for 3
weeks out of the month, then replaced with a new ring every month. Like the pill and the patch, the ring contains both an estrogen and a progestin. These hormones are absorbed through the vaginal walls. The ring usually cannot be felt during sexual intercourse and does not interfere with it. Since there are some possible side effects, a doctor’s advice and supervision are important.
