宮頸帽
宮頸帽由柔軟的薄橡膠製成，比陰道隔膜小，也有數種型號。它被放置在陰道上端，覆蓋著子宮頸。這種機械性隔阻作用會防止精子進入子宮。恰好與陰道隔膜相同，宮頸帽必須由醫生幫助選用，這將保證使用時尺寸合適和安放位置得當。在挑選好合適的型號後，使用者可以自行在性交前插入宮頸帽，使用時必須至少放置6小時。

Cervical Cap
A cervical cap is made of thin, soft rubber and is smaller than diaphragms, but also available in several types and sizes. It is inserted into the upper part of the vagina to cover the cervix. This mechanical barrier will prevent the sperm from entering the uterus. Just as the diaphragm, the cap has to be fitted by a doctor. This will ensure that the right size is being used and that it is placed in the right position. After the initial fitting, the woman can insert the cap herself before she has intercourse. It must then be left in place at least for 6 hours.
Effectiveness: Fairly effective if used together with a
spermicide. |
