“皮条客”
青年男子常常不仅等在(人行道的)街口、(火车站的)出入口等户外，而且也在酒吧和录像棚之类的户内提供性服务。一名“街头皮条客”和一名“酒吧皮条客”因而可能是一天中从户外到户内来回穿梭的同一个人。皮条客不会如妓女一样属于纯粹的分类类型。一些皮条客也可能会成为定期的“酒吧工作者”，而且依附一间特定的酒吧，他们在那里与酒吧老板分享收入。另一些人则演变成“应召男孩”。

“色情舞男”
某些“餐台舞吧”和“性影院”为了娱乐男性顾客，会上演半裸或全裸男性艳舞。有的艳舞者会在包间随时提供免费的隐秘性的“亲密钟点服务(intimate session)”。

“Hustlers”
Young males may offer their sexual services not only by waiting outdoors (on sidewalks, around railway stations etc.) but also in bars and video arcades. A “street hustler” and a “bar hustler” may therefore be the same person moving from outdoors to indoors and back in the course of a single day. Hustlers do not fall into the same neat categories as female prostitutes. Some hustlers may also become regular “bar workers” and attach themselves to a particular bar where they share part of their income with the owner. Others move on to become “call boys”.

“Erotic dancers”
Some “table dance bars” and “sex cinemas” present semi-nude or nude male dancers for the entertainment of their male guests. Some of the dancers are, for a fee, available for private “intimate sessions” in separate rooms.
