Gamst (1969:p103)[1]: “Young boys are not segregated. Tadassa [a 4-y-old] plays and fights with girls as well as boys, but sexual play between them is not permitted; in older children it is punished. After puberty, boys and girls no longer sleep together. Boys usually gain sexual knowledge gradually from listening to conversations of young men. Talking about sex in the house or at mixed gatherings is considered improper”.
