Condoms and Oral Sex
Women and men who want to take a penis into their mouths should be aware that this may involve some risk. The risk is low as long as no semen is ejaculated, but even so it may be useful to insist on the use of a condom. However, pre-lubricated condoms do not taste good, and if they are laced with N-9 (nonoxynol 9), they may cause some temporary numbness of the lips. Some people like flavored condoms, but others prefer the standard non-lubricated kind. The white powder covering these condoms is starch. Once the condom is in place on the erect penis, the starch can simply be wiped off with a clean, wet cloth. |
