“Before marriage the young men and girls carry on the practice of lukh, that is to say, the youths are allowed to inset the penis between the girl’s legs and sleep with them in this fashion; but they are not allowed to penetrate the vagina. I believe that the same practice exists amongst other tribes in British East Africa” (Hobley, 1911:p31)[1].
