染色体的功能:染色体是什么?

人体由细胞所组成,而人体的细胞都含有23对染色体,既总数46条染色体(希腊语chrona:颜色与身体)。染色体位于细胞核内,呈线状,能被着色并由此在显微镜下被看到。染色体携带着遗传信息,而且也在个体性的决定方面起着决定性的作用。

The Role of Chromosomes: What are chromosomes?

The human body consists of cells, and each of its cells contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, i.e. a total of 46 chromosomes (gr. chroma: color und soma: body). They are thread-like parts of the cell’s inner core (the cell nucleus), which can be dyed and thus made visible under a microscope. They carry the genetic information, and they also play a decisive role in determining a person’s sex.
