September 2010: Visitors from Germay and Japan

- On September 4, Prof. Haeberle was visited by Prof. Olaf Werner, the director of the Abbe-Institut für Stiftungswesen at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität, Jena. They discussed various ways of securing the future of our Archive.

- On September 6, Prof. Hiroyuki Wagata of Osaka University began his visit to the Haeberle-Hirschfeld Archive for a week of research. He was especially interested in the influence of German sexologists like Max Marcuse and Magnus Hirschfeld on the development of Japanese sexology. 

- From September 21 to October 2, Prof. Haeberle was visited by Prof. Julius Linn and Prof. Frank J. Tombrello from Birmingham, AL. USA. Both are members of our scientific advisory board. A guided tour of the Haeberle-Hirschfeld Archive  was followed by ten days of intense discussions about its potential and its future.
