The Treatment of Sexual Dysfunctions - Sex Therapy

In our general overview of sexual health problems we have listed the following sexual dysfunctions:

  1. Sexual aversion
  2. Inhibited sexual desire
  3. Pain during sexual activity
  4. Vaginismus
  5. Problems of tumescence (absent or weak erection, absent or weak lubrication)
  6. Problems of orgasm (unsatisfactory timing of orgasm, no orgasm)

The last three of these are the "classic" dysfunctions which are the subject of this course. The first three are particular health problems of a different order. Therefore, they will here be discussed first and separately from the others.
