Appendix V. Resources for Sexual Health

Although there is a considerable shortage in resources for Sexual Health in the Americas, and a recommendation has been issued for their implementation and strengthening, it should be recognized that some important resources already exist that need to be identified and disseminated, in order to optimize economic and human resources.

There are a number of governmental and non-governmental institutions that have developed strategies and work that is relevant for the promotion of Sexual Health. A world-wide partial list of these resources can be found in the Archive for Sexology web site in Berlin. The information can be retrieved by the Archive for Sexology Web site at: http://www.sexology.cjb.net. Additional resources can be found in the Web sites of the United Nations Organization specialized bodies and professional organizations:
