Retrograde Ejaculation Finally, it needs to be mentioned that some men reach orgasm without visible ejaculation. This is obviously not a problem of orgasm and thus, strictly speaking, its discussion does not belong here. Nevertheless, for the sake of completeness, here is a brief description: It is possible that a man's orgasm produces no visible ejaculation, because the semen is ejaculated into the urinary bladder. This so-called "retrograde ejaculation" can occur as a result of prostatic surgery or of taking certain medications, but there also some men who claim to be able to train themselves to achieve voluntary retrograde ejaculations as a means of contraception. In any case, the semen is later simply discharged with the urine. |
