- On August 19 and 21, Prof. Haeberle was visited by Prof. Philip Tromovitch (Science and Engineering Research Institute) and Prof. Mitsuo Kubota (Global Communications) from Doshisha University, Kyoto. Both were very interested in the rationale, working method, and world-wide acceptance of our Archive and especially in our “open access” online curriculum. As they reported, more and more Japanese universities are beginning to offer courses not only in Japanese, but also in English in order to attract foreign students.
