    Professional Training in Sexual Therapy

    Admission requirements:

    Applications should have a degree in a health related field (preferable psychiatry or clinical psychology (doctoral level)).

    College Degree on Health of Psychological Sciences or Social Work
    Three recomendation letters
    Handwritten letter giving the personal motives for taking the course
    Spanish and English reading and spoken
    Take and aprove a Propedeutic (Preparation) Course as an Introduction to Sexual Therapy
    Three personal interviews with members of the Admission Committee
    At least one year of documented experience on Psychotherapy
    Personal Psychotherapy
    Specific training in sexual issues (Sex Education, Sexology, etc.)

    Duration of program:

    24 months, 9 hours per week. Next beginns in March, 1998. One propedeutic course, 15 academic modules, bibliographic session, clinical presentations, 3 hours of supervised co-therapy per week, one final project to be presented in a scientific meeting or congress (review or original research)
