    MD or PhD or M.A. in clinical psychology.

    Required courses

    theoretical courses:

    1) Anatomy and physiology of sexual response
    2) Diagnosis and evaluation of sexual dysfunctions
    3) Principles of Sex Therapy

    practica:

    Candidate has to be a certified clinical psychologist or M.D. the requirements for practica are 2000 hours of direct
    therapy hours with 2 hours weekly of supervision.

    1. 120 hours of physiology, fertility, styles of family planning, sexually transmitted diseases, etc.
    2. General courses dealing with: Cultural shock and transition on the part of new immigrants, sexual behavior in the
    new land (Israel), physiology of sex, dealing with unwanted prenancy, overcoming barriers to contraceptive use
    prevention of AIDS.

    1. 60 hours training workshop / 220 hours field work.

    PURPOSE:
