    The museum shows over 1500 of artefacts and works of art from the collection of Prof. Liu Dalin, covering ca. 9000 years of sexual culture in China. Parts of this collection had previously been shown in Taiwan, Australia, Germany, and Japan. Since early 2004, the collection is on display in a museum of its own in Tongli. It now consists of several exhibition halls, meeting rooms, a tea pavillion, offices, a museum shop, and guest quarters. These buildings surround a sculpture garden on the tree-shaded campus of a former exclusive school for young women. The whole complex is one of the greatest cultural attractions in China.
